A tragedy in paradise as a young, married couple from Washington state, celebrating their anniversary and the soon-to-be birth of their second child, drown in Maui.

A couple celebrating their babymoon on vacation in Hawaii drowned 150 feet off-shore while on a snorkeling excursion. Sophia Tsaruk and her husband, Billy, were parents to a young son and were expecting a baby girl in December. The 26-year-old mother, who loved to sing and performed at her wedding, had planned to name her daughter Melody.

The Seattle couple was retrieved from the ocean by lifeguards, but died. "We know that heaven received and gained the three," a GoFundMe said.
